Terms of Use

1The agreement

Matobur is provided by Edict Digital Bilgi Teknolojileri A.Ş. (“we”, “us”), Istanbul, Türkiye. By downloading or using Matobur you agree to these terms. If Matobur is used by a child, a parent or legal guardian accepts these terms on the child's behalf and is responsible for purchases made with their store account.

App Store: if you downloaded Matobur from Apple's App Store, your use of the app is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA). These terms add information about Matobur and its subscriptions; if anything here conflicts with the Standard EULA, the Standard EULA prevails.

Google Play: if you downloaded Matobur from Google Play, these terms apply together with the Google Play Terms of Service.

2Using Matobur

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use Matobur on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial purposes. Matobur and all of its content, including characters, artwork, music and software, belong to Edict Digital or its licensors. Please don't copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute the app, or use it in any unlawful way.

3Matobur Premium subscriptions

Matobur is free to download and play with limited content. Matobur Premium is an optional subscription that unlocks all buildings and topics, unlimited daily play, double coins, exclusive friends and decorations, and detailed parent reports. Only a grown-up can buy it: the Premium screen opens after a parental gate.

• Plans: Matobur Premium is offered as weekly (1 week), monthly (1 month) and yearly (1 year) auto-renewing subscriptions. The price and length of each plan are shown in the app, in your local currency, before you buy. Prices may vary by country.
• Payment: payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase or, if your plan starts with a free trial, when the trial ends.
• Automatic renewal: the subscription renews automatically for the same length and at the same price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends. On Google Play, the subscription renews unless you cancel it before the end of the current period.
• Free trial: the yearly plan may include a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends (on Google Play: before it ends), the paid yearly subscription starts automatically when the trial ends. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Managing and cancelling: you can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your account settings: on iPhone or iPad in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, and on Android in Google Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. In the app, Parent Zone → Settings → Manage subscription takes you there. Cancelling stops future renewals, and Premium stays active until the end of the current paid period. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds: payments are processed by Apple or Google, and refunds are handled under their policies (for the App Store, at reportaproblem.apple.com). Unless the law or the store's policy requires otherwise, partially used subscription periods are not refunded.
• Price changes: if a subscription price changes, the store will tell you in advance and, where required, ask for your agreement before charging the new price.
• Restoring: to use Premium on another device signed in to the same store account, choose Restore purchases in Parent Zone → Settings or on the Premium screen.

4For parents

Matobur is made for children aged 5 to 10. Purchases, the Parent Zone and links that leave the app are protected by a parental gate. You are responsible for purchases made with your store account. You can also require approval for purchases with Ask to Buy and Screen Time (Apple) or Google Family Link.

5Educational content and changes to the app

Matobur is designed to support learning through play, but it is not a substitute for school or a teacher, and we can't guarantee specific learning results. We work hard to keep Matobur accurate and running smoothly, and we may update, change or remove features and content over time.

6Warranty and liability

Matobur is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties beyond those in these terms and the applicable store terms, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer protection laws in your country, or our liability where it cannot be limited by law.

7Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will publish the new version on this page with a new effective date, and we will let you know in the app if the changes are significant.
